Non-user BSL reviewers gave admirable quotes:

“Sophie Stone is heartbreaking as the wife and carer who falls asleep over her pint of Guinness." - Time Out London

"Jim Fish impresses as a lonely but content old man who is happily haunted by his dead wife.” - Time Out London

"Andrew Muir’s empathic production may not have same rhythm as Cartwright’s tight two hander but it still packs a hefty emotional punch." - The Stage

“Using a combination of BSL (British Sign Language) and English, the cast pour in and out of the lives that have graced the comforting hearth of the pub." - What's on Stage

“The interplay between the signing and the speaking parts is tremendous. It’s a gracefully choreographed piece of movement with characters either gaining a visible mirror to their own physical selves or a solid embodiment of internal thoughts and emotions.” – Bargain Theatreland

"Simon Daw and Paul Burgess provide a forensically research pub setting." - The Public Reviews

“…the most successful of the three Deafinitely shows I've seen so far… as for the company's aim to help integrate deaf creatives into mainstream theatre,..." - Partially Obstructed View
